The turbo kit wasn't cheap mate, but i didn't buy a complete kit, i just bought the turbo, mainfold and wastegate. I had them coated before they left the states.
I think by the time it landed after duty which was fucking £550 !! bastards!! it was just a fraction over £3k.

I know the R33 box would cope, it wouldn't just go bang the first run up the road, but what i don't want is to run 550bhp and get half way though a comp and bang.. to loose on mechanical failure is in my mind the worst thing that could ever happen!
Yeah i have spent a fair bit on the engine build, but i've been collecting the bits for the last 2 years, so when its finished shortly i will have my dream SR20, then i will be a happy man :)
