Anybody see the videos of the old estate with the huge turbo on it somewhere in eastern Europe?
They would be fine for abit if messing but wouldn't be great for twin-battling as you wouldn't have the rev-range or responsiveness as the petrol cars. You'd get left behind altogether if the guy in font was any way tactical.
The new E92 and E60 diesels are nice to slide around or so I'm told :D or any modern diesel for that matter as there is very little lag in them and coupled with a relatively good chassis.
Hard to beat the transit and Sprinter vans too though! :p
i had tough about this talked to a friend of mine how's a truck mechanic if you got an old volvo up around 3ltr diesal and put a turbo off an FH12 volvo truck it would be savage you would have to wind up the pump to the last otherwise you would melt the crap out of everything
i was talking about an old type volvo early 90's you would be very surprised the size of the exhaust housing on a small enough horse power FH12 isn't that big but thats only my thinking of it
also that merc has a turbo off a scania
ya iv heard of ladz usein scaina turbos on volvos!
id say a 325 turbo diesel with straight tru pipe chip ad weld the diff solid!!
