Just.outa interest, how come you run 15''s over 16''s or 17''s? Building a car myself so curious :)

Thanks man.
Few reasons I've stuck with 15" wheels.
Power - Car probably pushing to make 210/220 hp, so smaller wheels means I can get the power down when I need it.
Easier on the car - I've had a good second hand standard E30 clutch in it for over a year now and it's still pulling strong, easier on the whole drive train really.
Budget - I got the original set very cheap when I started building the car and I'm just using 15" part worn tyres for IDC, it's all I can afford to use.
Few lads were saying to use at least 16" wheels or 17" but I think they would be too hard on the car/clutch/gearbox and I dont have the money anyway so sticking with the 15's for this year.
i use 16s (205/40) for the exact reasons pointed out above.

top class driving man, you're gettin a lot out of that car considering the power you're working with.
fair play
Thanks man, yeah really have to drive the thing to get it to do what you want.
