Should really up date this, been away and been mental busy at work dont get time to log in much !! Any way car has served me well over the last two events hasnt let me down yet ,touch wood ! did a competition up in derry for charity with brendan and bart there a while back got to top 32 and knocked out then by gordon clifford after 3 one more times ,was great fun to say the least made shite of the new bumpers at the same time ha !
Then did round 5 finished up in qualifying in 5th ,yea 5 th dont ask how i managed that one ha ha ha got put up against a steady sam farrell and made the school boy error of bein a hero when i had it in the bag ha !anyway really enjoyed it to the max ,thanks to all for the help that day !,turned out it wasnt all bad and took 2nd in amateur qualifying :cool::cool:

Also gonna get a bumper bar fitted before were all back out for 2012 seems like an investment , regards mashing up everything else ha ! other than all that just been getting some practise in the last while and having fun !!!

Thanks everyone !! car runnin A1 now, due to the new breather set up from tdp which includes 26 rockers and a custom gtr catch tank !,had a good lash down in WGH the last day so all seems good !!............. maybe new bumpers fresh for next year and thatl be me ready to go :D ................. Did a bit of work on the ''look's '' side of things to the car over the last few weeks first was a set of canards ill put up a bit of a 'how to' here for the dudes that might want to know ! :D

Masked off both sides of the bumper like so !and draw freehand the size u want

Then i used a piece of cardboard to help with getting the shape of the bumper and making the canard sit tight as it bends ,dips, and changes angle with this particular bumper ,so it aint easy to get spot on and flush.....and also to get the right flow of the ''s'' of the canard (up to u how long ya want it )........when u bend the cardoard to the right ''s'' tape it to the bumper and then layer the cardboard with masking tape to hold the shape :D

Now just free hand draw on the cardboard the type of teardrop you want like this and cut it wit a blade to leave it like this :)

Then take off your ''cardboard'' canard thatl be bent to shape and cut a piece of alluminuim and bend it over your knee or watever to get the same bend

Then cut out the canard shape using the cardboard canard...

Now yer pretty much done and of course it probably wont be perfect so just keep a 4'' sander close by keep triming it down till ya get it right make 2 little brackets and wal -A ! :D
