Cool cool, thats cheap, I got stung with customs so mine ended up costing agood bit! You on't be disappointed with it, the amount of features that are on it is unreal!! I've been talking to Joe, and he's taking mine in for mapping whenever I get it done.

Yeah I was on to him a while back and never got around to finalising a deal! So its all yours so!!

Good stuff. Got a serial to usb port thing......so will be awful tempted to start fiddling and blow the thing up lol! But very cool...and F&Fish for monitoring atleast. I'd say I'll try and go with Joe aswell. Havent actually seen any work hes done or been to urban before, but some of my mates know him quite well, and I need dyno mapping. Did he say there was any sort of a waiting list actually? Or how much notice would you need to give him?

Yeh hoping to swap some bits I have for the diff and halfshafts. Think it could work out for both of us....especially as I'm pretty skint

Joe does know his stuff, I had a good long chat with him the other day, and he's very confident in what he will do with it. I've only ever heard good stuff from him.
As regards to notice, I know he's away for this week, but once he's back Im sure a few days is all thats needed. Actually, maybe if both of use are going up at the same time he'll do a deal? Two turbo'd mx5's running the same ecu and injectors? Its worth a shot!!

Very much worth a shot. Both ours will be very similar spec wise anyway I'd imagine. Although realistically I'm aiming for between the 24th Feb to 5th March for mapping......and thats being hopeful, so maybe you'll want it before that?

Did you get a quote actually? I have a rough idea of a price in my head, but would be nice to know exactly how much to put aside. PM if you want

Lot happening on this still. Just dont have the pics yet to upload.

The engine I got seems 100% and was rebuilt, so thats good. Loosing track of all the stuff I've got tbh, but will do a proper spec up when its finished. Extra lock is fitted and looks like a lot of fun :D, plus should hopefully have the twin trust DD shotgun style pipes fitted sooner rather than later. Hoping for paint this weekend (keep changing my mind on it though), and mapping the following weekend. Starting to get tight time wise, but also starting to take shape.....cant wait to just drive it now! Head is wrecked stressing out about everything!!

Yep, always loved trust DDs on 86s so might aswell. Slightly staggered and angled too. But mainly since its gonna be 90% a track car I want it to be alot louder than it is now. Plus the HKS superdragger backbox gets in the way of the diffuser I'm makin up. Will C's gonna give it a shot on friday hopefully
