Looking well man!!
Cool looking car. Really liking the mismatched wheels
Easily my favourite r32 on here! So clean and simple, perfectly executed!
Aaaawww yes, thats one sexy car
thanks gents i keep meaning to get a bit more detailed with this thread but i never think of taking pics im probably going to spray the spokes of the meisters to match the blitz but that can wait till i take it off the road later in the year
right after being inspired by Hachi's awesomely detailed build thread i decided to put a bit more effort into this thread so fitted the recaros yesterday only 15 months after getting them but better late than never i guess
loaded up and off to the workshop who says r32's aren't practical

first off out with the old seats having one of these makes this part so much quicker
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psbwjxncfj.jpg
forgive the state of the interior its been daily driven for the last few weeks
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdti1ekdu.jpg
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdgzgwmfg.jpg
and out
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psmf0ditjv.jpg
right so im not shure what brand the rails are they have some jap writing and a for a s13 so they will need a bit of adjustment
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pskdwpmgzl.jpg
seat off to see how much it needs
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps7qsvfaym.jpg
not much so i chopped that foot off the frame along with the seatbelt receiver bracket as i want to mount the original receiver on the seat as the old seats had
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshamidn3f.jpg
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5jtoczhm.jpg
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psp5o9spio.jpg
time to break out the chopsaw i fucking hate this thing its almost impossible to get a straight cut with this worn out piece of shit but it will do till the new bandsaw arrives
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshjw0u6di.jpg
action shot!!
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psyndppumm.jpg
in position for tacking i also drilled a hole and plug welded the new foot to the frame for extra peace of mind
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psidzvykzb.jpg
at this point the welder started acting up so i just forgot about taking pics but i welded up the frame primed and painted it and moved on to mounting the receiver to the seat
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pssmlfid0o.jpg
then i moved on to the drivers side which i decided to do differently i cut the welds and split the rear off the floor frame instead off remaking the foot
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps4agnq0e2.jpg
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...psizx9fnwy.jpg
bolt to the floor to mark up the new position and weld er up
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pssbqzymnr.jpg
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pssborhfvo.jpg
the passenger side one finished up you can see where i mounted the original receiver there should be no problem with it here the rails should be strong enough to take the load but i dont intend on finding out lol
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps2nfoe8cm.jpg
and drivers side
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pshphf2q5i.jpg
and finished took a bit longer than a thought but at least its done and they look the part ans are super comfy
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...pszhlida06.jpg
so opinions welcome more would you like to see more or less detail or more pics let me know id hate to think i was boring anyone lol
Haha glad to be of some inspiration. Cool update, perfect amount of detail. Pretty good reference for adapting an S13 rail for R32s.
Seats look awesome.
Good job man! R32's FTW!!!
