Sorry we've been up to our tits with the new site, building cars and Prodrift, our build threads havnt had the attention they deserve!
We finished off Willis's SR-AE86 the night before Prodrift Rd1 Ennis and he struggled in practise and qualifying with what seemed like a miss-fire and no power what-so ever! So as soon as we got back we changed the turbo for a T28 and the AFM for a bigger, RB20 one, checked over a few things and sent it down to TDP.ie to get a NIStune fitted and mapped!
After a few things were fixed, fuel pressure regulater was nackered and some extra wiring was needed, Robbie rang me with the results! It went from 120 flywheel bhp to 325bhp, and 312lb ft or torque! We couldnt believe it as a few of us were throwing down figures we thought it may get, and none were anywhere NEAR 325bhp!!
A quick rip up the road at the garage clarified that 325bhp in a lightweight Corolla is scary!!!
