The Green Monster starts to prove itself

BDC Round 4 was in Donnington on sat, it was a bloody scorcher 30degrees!!!!

I qualified 3rd in Semi pro and then Matt Carter (Team Green/Falken) went on to finish 3rd in the Pros after beating the TWO Driftworks cars!!!! Mind you the first one he beat was Bon, which was down to a 5minute rule which brought Matt into the Top 4.

He then battled Phil for third place and won :D

Matt early in practise broke 3rd gear in his own car, then attempted to drive without 3rd, blowing a nice big hole clean out the side of his engine as a result!
Decided last minute he'd use my car & qualified 7th.
On top of this we both used 265-40-18 tyres thru the day! :eek:
Ive never ventured over 235's cause im afraid of breaking things and not having the powers, how wrong was I, the cars never felt better to drive and handle, even with it still needing some work.

So needles to say im still smiling, finally some results after a crap start with the new car for the first half of the year!

Im sort of confused...results for you or the car or someone else?!

Good stuff though, nice little achievement to beat both the DW cars in an unfamiliar car!

Both!
I qualified 3rd in my class and Matt went on to finish 3rd in the pro class. After the shit ive had with the car since getting it, its only started to come right recently, never missed a beat all day.

Thank god for Xtreme Autos is all I can say, or id now have my hair pulled out!
