i have a hks evc 5 and just wondering if the car battery get disconnected or runs flat, do these little buggers store what they have been set to????
and is it easy to adjust (mess up) the settings, as in by accident or would they only change if you went about a certain sequence of events?, if you get what i mean. like when pulling the dash in and out rooting at various things would it be as simple as a turn of one of the dials to upset the way it was setup when being mapped?
they would store your settings alright ;)
No it'd be fine it'd be just like an ecu if the battery went dead.......!
Was thinking the same, blew a fuse for the fag lighter as it wasn't wired up and when i was wiring it touched the 2 wires by accident..
Couldn't see which was blown as difficult to get to with cage and bucket seat etc so pretty much ended up pulling all the fuses out one by one till eventually gettin to the blown one. Wondered if I'd screw something or something loose memory but thankfuly not.
