try sean corley on facebook. I used to get cheap brand new tyres off him.
Typically Kenda's are pretty good, lots of smoke & lots of grip & last a good long time
Jinyu's seem to last a lot longer than the kendas, less smoke tho.. dont really know about grip
partworns - dont even bother, false economy
I go through 1 set of kendas doing 4th gear all morning at AutoHeroes, then typically two further sets doing mondello forward in the afternoon.. most of the tyre slaying is done dragging on the handbrake entering under the bridge.. flat spots the tyres like mad
I use toledos. Hit up Bart in JDMGarage. Great wearing tyre.
Yeah definitely Kenda's, not the cheapest but last and handle way better than anything I had in before.
Dean Martin in http://www.eastcoastalloys.com/
I've had kendas on road cars before. they wear extremely well and are well worth the tiny bit extra compared to a shite budget tyre.
I go to a guy in ardee called MK Tyres. Hes very easy to deal with and has a good selection of budget tyres. He does some drifting himself so he try's to help out as much as he can
What kind of prices you talking for the budget tyres?
Say for a 215/45R17
