camber not happening

So adjusted top mounts to get a bit of camber to help fit new wheels...

I wasn't expecting to get much just using the top mount but I moved it over about an inch (as far as it'll go) so surely something isn't right here?

Anyone any ideas?

loosen 2 blots on the bottom of shock and push the top of the shock inwards! But make sure your wheel doesn't scrub off the coilover!

plenty of clearance anyway, wheels are negative offset

you mean loosen the bottom shock bolts that go onto the hub ?

thought that alright but surely I should get a bit of camber with the top mounts? like it looks nearly straight at the moment and the top mount is all the way in ?

Yeah the bottom bolts where the shock goes onto the hub, my coilovers have a slot in them which allows camber adjustment. Take a wheel off and try first, fairly hard to adjust when the wheel and all is on though!

ye dude i wrote that wrong sorry, loosen the 2 shock-hub bolts and push the top of the hub inwards while tightening! If that don't work, get S14 Lower Control arms!

CAn u not move the allen keys back towards the wings on camber plate some coilovers allow you. Tke a pic from above camber plate

you won't get much from the top mount.i have mine set all the way in and got 1.2 degrees

these aren't slotted tho just a bolt through but might be able get a couple extra mil out of it

I'll give it a shot yeah, was thinking of doing that but then for some reason got it in my head that it should be tightened in natural position, so there isn't as much force on the bolt - so it doesnt try to force itself back. But then I realised the top mount is held at the angle by 4 tiny bolts so should be all good.

bolts aren't in the way tho - the actual piece that comes up (adjustment culinder thing) is touching it so its impossible to move it in any more

so its about right as it is - it looks almost straight on mine tho, be worried how it sits if the top mount was centered
