what a day yesterday!!!! firstly i would like to thank all the drivers and spectators for coming. we had a last minute change of judges as the comp time was drawing very near
and the lads were running late so clifford gordon and dryll burnett stepped up and i would like to express a sincere thank you for doing so
The weather for a change was actually quite nice yesterday for a change
which in turn made for some serious smoking action which didnt dissapoint. As always there were a few casulties early on one car only got a lap before suspension failure forced him out which was further than another car which only got off the trailer then the owner realised he had no 2nd gear but hey thats drifting for ya
qualifing was scored out of 90 points with a bonus of an extra 10 pts for hitting
the tin can attached to a traffic cone which eventual winner josh moffett hit on all his
qualifing laps unreal talented driver only 5 other drivers managed to hit it once without
flattening the cone

some people do go a bit overboard with there logos on pics i think lol.
any way great day and event, i really enjoyed my self i have to say, a nice relyxed and fun atmosphere, great idea with the tin can, i suggest some sort of teady bear or what not next time for the comical value of it.

brilliant photos con and phil very good and good days drifting and loadsa track time was very happy with the car 1st time out this year cant wait get back out again :)
