Ford Capri 24v Cosworth

This project is on the go since april its getting there slowly but surely. Car started as a 1.6 laser capri so there was a good bit of strengthening need to the shell and a bit of work with x-member steering rack etc to sit the cosworth in. It isint too far off being road legal just need wings, bonnet and a bit of strengthening to the rear chassis legs. Here are a few pics of the build.

love capris was thinking of puttin an rb25 into one but ended up with the skyline would still like to do it at some stage

cousins had a few capris and i loved them except they are seriously underpowered but with that fine bit of engineering under the bonnet that is guna be one cracking car
