V-tec Cam Project (ae86 / F20c )
Hey people, I started this project in July 2008 and im as far as getting her wired now. Pics talk better than words....
Part 1

I picked myself up an F20C from a 03 s2K, Bought everything I needed from the s2K, engine box loom ecu clocks and shaft, removed all the stuff meself from the crashed s2K so id have an idea where everything went.

Removed everything from cam, down to a bear shell and tried a quick trial fitment, marking up the tunnel where i needed to cut.

Next I went and bought some steel and made up a trailed spit for spining my cam around on while i was seam welding her / sand blasting. Had two hubs found an old ball hitch thingy.

Then bought myself a new MIG welder... and started cleaning the shell off for welding

Got stuck into lifting the tunnel to fit my 6 speed :)....

Right then i made up my new subframe and gearbox mount.

And then sent away me sump to get modified to fit over my now manual steering rack.

Next which was a very tight job, had to extend my exhaust manifold out from the head inorder to allow it to pass down between the chasis leg and the steering rod shaft.
