Yashio Factory Gauge Help...?

This Yashio Factory Water Temp Gauge was in the 180sx when i bought it.......it wasnt connected when i got the car, so i fitted it today and it lights up but nothing changes, and when i press any of the buttons nothing happens....!! :confused:

I think these only work with a standard ecu and its a standard ecu thats fitted.

Any ideas what it could be?? :wink:

Maybe its a fault code??

what ecu are you using pfc? they plug into the consult port as far as i no but you should be able to hard wire it into the pfc just get a pinout for your ecu

seen this before on some forum ... sometimes it displays any current ecu fault codes instead of temp ... looks like thats whats happening to yours .

edit : what car have you it in ??

lad here says it worked in his s14 but not his ps ....

its in a 97 180sx sr20det blacktop.

it has a standard ecu.

So does anyone know what this fault code is?? :confused:

if you know some1 with an s14/s15 try plug it into there consults and see does it give the same error.
