well lad your supension set up is very much upto yourself so its very hard to recommend what set up would suit your driving style its something you just have to fiddle with till your comfortable but as for tyres on the back it depends on what power youre running but on the front id recommend bridgestone potenza rs001's but im sure youll get plenty of other reccomendations.... hope that helps a bit :)
sound thanks mate. power is bout 250 bhp sr 20 stove blitz front mount s14 turbo engine rebuilt steel head gasket etc ;)
3 letters WKD ;)
im running
up front
camber 4*
toe 0
caster 7*40''
rear
camber .9*
traction -5mm from standard
toe 2mm each side
first time i had ever got the car properly lined and im now wondering why i never did it sooner. transition ease and speed improved, feel threw the steering wheel was great and i could noticably feel the difference in grip, seemed to just pull me out of corners. its hard to explain but in ennis practice i had to look behind me the first couple of runs because i thought rob was pushing me threw the last two corners (he has been known to getting 'close' at times) mayb sounds stupid but thats how i felt at the time lol
fair play lad thanks for your help.:)
Wow someone put up alignment settings......it's nice to see someone sharing some info and knowing what settings is on their car.I'll be looking to set up my car shortly and will be trying some different settings.
is there anyway to judge camper /caster/ toe in /out on a buget= a level and measuring tape........just wondering any geniuses out there ?
