200sx powered by sr20det- rpm gauge not working

have a 200 sx , had a full sr20det conversion from a s14...

the rpm clock is not working, its stuck on max actually :rolleyes: doesnt budge

anyone have any ideas .???

tried a search off google, i know they can give bother and not work after conversion so id throw in an aftermarket gauge no probs but not sure where the signal wire has to be connected to ?

the reason they reckon the rpm clock doesnt work after conversion is cos of lack of signal to the clocks so where will i take the signal from for an A/M gauge, pre coilpacks somewhere ?

id prefer to get the one workin on the dash

Prob a loose concoction between the boot light and the central locking ;)

One in my own car has done this, every now and again it pops back and starts working, more often than not its all the way around though???

it is indeed

call me a butcher but it happened me as well and i leave the lens off the cluster now. it;s a full time tracker now
my gauge stopped working so i brought a wire from the cam angle sensor and connected it to the back of the clock and it works spot on. use a multimeter if doing this to be on the safe side
