mines ecu no.2

i have a mines ecu for a red top s13
what would it be mapped for?

They are not mapped for anything, it is a mines chip in the ecu and will blow your engine!!
Get rid of it,,,,,

Get the number off it and send it to mines they will send ya back what it was setup for?

Id imagine thats not ideal either betweenn a number of different factors such as fuel, car, mapper etc

Theres no substitute or replacement for mapping a car with the correct supporting mods, a consistant fuel and mapping the car accordingly by a reputable mapper in the relevant conditions IMO

these ecu chips baffle me and why lads /ladies ask ''are they ane use '' ''will it work on me car willl it ! '' i got it off me mates yoke he said it had the car runnin rapit '' etc etc lads in the name of jaysus am i not right in saying every engine is different thats not even taking into consideration the extra mods u would be running , for example take a fairly fucked around with rb25 from japan ex skiddin yoke with z32 850 injectors , bigger snail , workn off an avcr ,with big intercooler exhaust etc with a ''mines ecu'' .......and you buy it and put it into your standard rb25 with an exhaust on it .......... it think the rest falls in place girls fuelling timing all off............am i correct????? if i am why would ya bother yer pony buyn it if it wasnt tuned mapped setup for ur car ?????????

They don't work, pre mapped ecu's never work especially from a different country like japan! Up to yourself if ya use it or not,,,

@duck drift i know a fella thatl loosen ur big ends for ya save ya buying that ecu

thanks for the info peoples was kind of thinking that myself, but tought they were a kind off mass proudced item numbered for different mods

mines also do fully programmable ecus but there generally locked by a mines tuner from japan and thats why people call them chips cause they where locked for certain mods on a certain car
