well lads, im thinking of putting a BIG oil cooler on my car!!.......but this will put the oil pump under more stress/pressure, so i was thinking of fitting a second power steering pump to the oil cooler line to help pump oil through the oil cooler!!........can any body tell me if this can be done...or will it work

ive a 34 row oil cooler on my 1jz and its fine...would'nt think there would be any need to fit a secound pump
34 ROW, thats pretty big alright!!...you probably have a fairly new oil pump in your engine though!!.....mines 200km on it!:o i think it could cause a failure!!....but then again if i cant get it cooling better it'l die anyway!:D:D
ya i put a brand new oil pump in before engine was fitted....the car was running nearly 100deg before i fitted it and maybe even go to 110 deg since the big cooler was fitted car runs 70-85 deg max now...well worth it
