ive had this a while now so i suppose its about time i started a project thread,
ive only a few pics of the work so far but ive plenty more to do and ill keep it updated from here on :D

it started off as a standard twin cam with a f**ked engine

spec now is

2.0l vauxhall red top, camed + chipped with ARP bolts and acl race bearings

tran-x 5 speed straight cut box

adj track control arms, compression struts and some old springs out of a hot rod :D :D

As alan said, i done the very same a few years back. Red saph cossie rep, cam'd xe on 45s:D I used it in one of the very early rounds of d1 drift IRL, in rosegreen, around 2004. she made top 8:D Back then everyone competed in roadcars, no rollcages, just a helmet! simple times:p
Engine eventually found its way into a mk2 escort roadcar, and the saph got a 2.9 24v cossie engine fitted:cool:

deadly steel rims are they cortina steels widened with a band welded inside. o wat shocks did you use i tryed using 1s from a courior van but just couldn get the bolt in and cavalier 1s were too long. she sits lovely now on the green wheels.

yeah da black ones are cortina or escort the green ones are mk5 escorts. The shocks are off a mk2 escort with the top modified to fit :) easy enough to fit
