i no off a few lads that got this done,and from feed back from them it really depends on the clutch your getting resurfaced,a standerd clutch has a standerd rateing if you will off surfaceing,wear as performace clutches ect have a harder wearing better material,and your can only get the weaker surfaceing when getting a clutch resurfaced,so it would be no good for any after market clutch,hope this helps robbie,like i said this isnt first hand experience just info i heard from lads who got it done before!!

I have an exceedy organic clutch was seeing if you could get it resurfaced with stronger stuff......! Or is it just more for standered clutches....!

one the lads got is done before..
its still lasting.... his yoke is 270-290bhp..
so you should be on the ball...

There's a chap called Martin Gaffeny up beside santry stadium, i get him to reline most of clutches i do, only trouble ever had was on a levin bzr were the lad spun wheels out of the garage and was offf the limit up the road , next day he rang me with no clutch, when i took it out he split the rivet's and the lining's came off- paddle clutches he said he can be done if he know's the thickness when their new,sound fella to deal with knows his business inside out . recond's steering rack too

they used to do it to tractors years ago but was never to successful. better off buying a proper replacement

got mine done it cost 80 quid and ive givin it some abuse its on the ball no slippage yet or even smell a burnin mines in a standard blacktop with 225 18s on the back

I can get a box in and out in an hour at this stage so its not too bad....! If it lasts the weekend il be happy....! Its not my car....!
