i got a reconditioned power steering pump for the car as it was going cheap but was wondering what to do with my own.
any ideas where would recondition them and what would it cost does anyone know?

drive shaft services recon them, they do a good job too, i cant remember the exact price but its around 150 euro if u google them u will get there no

Such a prick of a car for power steering pumps the ould buck is on his 3rd 1 in his altezza the car gets no abuse whatsoever and they still go hmm maybe thats the problem needs to be abused :)

well when i got it i was learning to drift so had it on full lock instead of opposite and that wrecks um so hopefully il do better with the next one!!

where did you get the reconditioned pump? i need one for my own but hearing bad things about reconditioned ones like they go within a few weeks again.

got my pump Recon with him..it was 100% diff no bother and not one sign of it goin or steering getting heavy..180e to get it recon'd and you get 2yrs warranty pop it 10times and the man will fix it no bother

best job is to fit a oil cooler and your pump will never pop again had it done on mine aswell after i poped the 1st pump

i bought one a them recon'd pumps from japan before i heard of the Beyond Engineering and it lasted 10mins waste of 260e

Does he work on an exchange basis like i give him my broken one and he gives a reconditioned unit? does he post? 2 year warranty is great

cheers felas,got mine off a fela on another site,tezza world.he thought he needed a pump but turned out after gettin it all he need was a bearing below the pump i think that cost him 7e!!so he flogged the pump on then. some places can be dodgy,heard theres a place advertising on donedeal that are meant to be crap.
