Im not sure of what i should do with the rear brakes on my 180sx

As i plan on doing prodrift next year with it im unsure should i just change it now or wait till i see how she performs with some testing.

The rear brakes are from a s13 200sx and are the shoe in disk type. Iv been told that there is no need to get a hydro handbrake as this will lock up the rear no problem as it will lock up the shoes but im worried about brake fade.

Can anyone who has had experience with this advise me of whats best and also should i use 5.1 brake fluid??? cheers.

5.1 is the stuff you want.

Brake fade is only really an issue on your pads when braking hard repeatidly when they over heat
