As above just booked this with John for Saturday 14th August :D
Location - Goldstone Drift Track Castlecomer Co. Kilkenny (Around 20 mins from portlaois motorway exit) http://goldstonedrift.webs.com/location.htm
Chip van will be there also for hot food!!
Cost will be €50 a Driver for 10-12 cars but if you want it cheaper ie €40 then more cars less track time ect ect Ill leave that up to yourselves to decide!!
Open to everyone regardless of experiance or like myself the lack of it..
As usual Helmets are a must!!
NO passengers allowed out for shotgun spins unless the car is caged!!
NO Acting the wanker/messing outside/around the area!!!!!!!
Im giving 6 weeks notice for lads to get money/tyres ect together so no excuses unless ur just a lifestyler :p:p
Times to be sorted but its usually 11am(ish) till late :)
Ill get onto chris and get him to donate is body parts to be used as clipping points aswell ;)
Im putting up 2 lists to save sorting sht out later
List 1 for lads 100% heading and list 2 for lads getting cars sorted or unsure if they can make it ect ect....

I don't mind the drive.
Its fitting enough tires, fuel, jack etc into the Skyline! Just not gonna work. I'd need a pick up like Scotty on DW :p

ah sack. i done it once like that in the s15. 6 wheels a jack and filled it in portlaoise before i went to the track, needless to say i was a bit cramped but defo worth it

On that map take the R694, then second right, then right at fork, then right at second fork and its jus there!! :D

so is the track the "figure 8" or the bottom bit with the grass "islands"? or is it both?

Its the full track but its used as an oval layout mostly with the one lefty! Haven't been there in a few yrs but i'm presumin its still the same!

Full track is used top to bottom around both islands, still pretty short tho!

Ah diff mount broke and prop came out from bangin the clutch noting major, be all fixed up for next weekend :cool: May get sum shocks for the front tho :eek:

Well lads just home!!was last to leave as usual!! thanks to stevo for organising it and for the oil and jumpleads!!:D. First go in the sil80 sice put together and it wasnt bad few things to tweek and its grand 2nd time on the track and taught i did alot better so was happy out!!! have few vids of cars,omega,sierra,onevia,silvia,red/black s14, cud have more ill upload em later!!!

Good day out nothing major went wrong apart from an oil leak, but got it sorted ,fair play to stevo for organising it

Was a great day, broke my front bumper :D so i'll stitch that later...
One of the gaskets is gone but I havn't bothered checking which one it is, hopefully not the turbo inlet gasket!
And I broke my handbrake too, so its time to fit a hydraulic one i think...

savage car simo, it can certinly go, but first go in the sil ya did savage fair play to ya, you go through many tyres

i had a savage day even tho the car ran shite and was waaay down on power but great day all the same great to meet some of yaz lads.
Well done to stevo for the day cant wait to see the barge with a hydro its some pig i love it.
