yeah i took apart the hydro and welded the base to the standard handbrake
then made a bracket and welded it to the standard handbrake to recieve the
balljoint from the cyclinder

delighted it mounted ok cause iv being putting off sorting out shoe's,backplates and cables to fit the z32 brakes

Yes go me :D
Smart thinking though !!
So if they test the handbrake in the nct , as in just make sure it works when they're inside , will it work the same way as a standard handbrake

Don't they check the handbrake cables in the NCT?

Or are you leaving the cables in place for this very purpose :)

not sure about all the in's and out's but I'm pretty sure all that's needed is a lock and release handbrake

that is sweet as!!

though in the event of the manufactures thoughts when coming up with the brainwave of an emergency break operated by a seperate system than the system that isnt the emercency 1..what happens?

GEAR DOWN AND DUCK FOR COVER!

ha its pretty dangerous but its win!

i had this done a few years back on my drift car because i did not have the money to buy a ready made one it worked well but with the short lever you will have to give it a good tug make sure the piston is being pushed back straight. nice job i never thought my one would fit in the concole.
