putting r1 carbs on my 4age, anybody know sumone who can tune these to run right? thanks

welcome,In this climate it is very hard to set up the jetting on carbs due to unpredictable weather,so i would keep the injectors and get a set of 20v itb,s:cool:

Any motorbike mechanic who has good dynojet experience
should be able to advise you properly.
Search around for current and ex dynojet dealers in ireland.
(maybe rpm mc's drogheda)

disaster of an idea in this country. 0 power increase over a fully programable safc/standard ITB set up off an ae111 levin 20V youll neesd the adaptor plate which can be bought or made

maybe you know all this...

I have ssworks carbs on my cam.Pain in the arse starting it in the cold weather but easy start once the engine is warm or in the summer.
Not a great idea for an everyday car

do ya remember ocky in waterford he jetted his r1 carbs himself on his golf gti and has done a good few before hand give him a shout and he will point u in the right direction

driftma on here is the man here to get it running , tom casey in waterford then will tweek it to run A1 .

sounds like id be gettin in to a spot of trouble with carbs,, seems that the 20 valve itbs are the way to go.

have a set there, just need to find an adapter plate:):)
