LOL! wont be there anymore finish a few exams there yesturday...
good luck in the exams. what course were you taking up there.
Update Time..
supected a leak in my exhaust manifold, so striped it out, to find nasty crack. While I had it out i decided to port the GTRS turbo wastegate as i had always had problems with boost creep ever since the turbo was fitted.
Sure while i had the car apart why not treat the engine with some new engine bits.
so started ordering
cosworth 1.1mm gasket
ARP head studs
BC Ti spring retainers
Tomei Type A springs
supertech valve seals
removed the head and found cams and rockers had some wear so..
more ordering..
Tomei TypeR cams 256degree 11.5mm lift
new rocker arms
new cam spray bars
sure with everything out and on the kitchen counter why not attempt some light porting..
while doing all this work i remeber i had a plenum that i have ordered a few years ago but never fitted... so lets try get this on..
some polishing....
cyclinder head back on and assembly begins.
small update?? lol
Epic car man and done to the highest standard fair play mate!

the engine looking class now any future plans now?
have still load of small bits and peice i have collected over the years, plans to get them all on the car and enjoy it.
Current plans to get it running so i can drive to work and get the grocerys
im just waiting on a few custom bit and peice to be made up so i can get the car started up and get the timing right , full alignment and a tune
update me thinks.
as i haven't update it in a while, rebuild went well car been up running for a good while now. all aligned and mapped up on normal applegreen petrol :)
only just gotten around to dyno the car.
shes running 1.5 bar now making 380bhp / 360ft/lb. fly.
slight prblem with boost droping of need to get it sort.
leathel love s15's an that is tidyyyyyy fair play til ya lad

really liking this car
well with exams over and abit of TLC need be done to the car, i had her up on some axle stands.
I was getting abit of play on the rear driver side wheel, found it to be the wheel bearings on the way out so decided to change them out with a spare set i had laying around.
while i was at it started to fit my Z32 alunium upright/knuckle mode i had been planning for a while now.
only managed to get one side done..
dame weather!
refurbed lower arm powder coated polybushed and adjustable roll centre
Conical spacer required for fitting ball joint to alumiunm knuckle.
knuckle was fitted with a rose joint to allow maximum movement of the suspension mount as the z32 suspension is actually at a slightly different angle.
test fitted the knuckle inplace
cut and welded an old suspension bottom mount to take the Z32 fitting.
a few problems in countered while doing the mod.
dust cover on axle needs to be removed as it rub on the rear of the knuckle when bolted on fully.
and some grinding need on the z32 knuckle/upright where the suspension bottom mount bolts on, cause of full supension travel the knuckle hits the bottom mount.
*** Update car is Sold... gone out of ireland !!!
pics deleted cause it makes me sad to see it..
