Afterthoughts?
Thought it was an excellent day,Bit slow at the start but when grouped off it worked out much better,Great value for money!
James Deane's gonna need someone special to beat him after seeing him today,
Christy might be up to it,Seemed to be pushing out as far as James,
Pity about the R33,Some car,Very well finished.
Whoever drove the Toyota Mk II out of the streeto's is wasted,That man needs to be competing!
Overall some day.

i had an absolute blast of a time out there today.altho from outside the car might not of look like much was going on but inside i was loving every minute of it. got loads of firsts in today...first ever chance to try transitioning, first ever left turn drift, first time out that i didn't break anything, and me first shredded tyre:D..... I'm about to have me first beer of the evening.

What a day!! Firstly thanks for the support everyone and for showing up and having a great day!We started off slow and had a few unexpected entries but it all worked out i think! Hope everyone had a great day i personally had a brilliant time!! There were teething problems at the start of the day but we got a good feel for how the next one will go!
As i said earlier in the week we were planning bbq facilities and music, the bbq had an unfortunate falling apart incident-mainly due to d fact its made from a rusty hydraulic oil drum! but shes sweet!! and the music will be supplied by the monster truck in future!
I personally had great crak, it was the first time the new car has ran and it was class! Was struggling with the standard power and gay spec standard lock but sure onwards and upwards!!

Called in yesterday for an hour or so....... All the drivers seemed to be having a blast. Is that the layout for pd today and tomorrow? On another note called in to Mondello on the way up and there was a V.I.P (Paddy Rally)day on in there. Holy fuck the machinery was just insane in there. Ferrari's, Lambos, M3'S,M5'S, No less than 5 R35 GTR's, AMG's, S4'S, A 700hp Supra doin a private drift demo an passo rides just for these guys, Gary Rothwell was there in his 750 hp Evo8 and his bike, Plus we met Stavros Flatley from Britians got Talent and his son haha (Sound Fellas). Some serious wealthy people hanging about the place......
I had a deadly day, was absolutely shite on the track but didnt give a rats was me 1st time out on a track had so much fun :D (Till near the end nearly all my oil bust up through the dipstick not good) Was cool to chat to a few of yas put names to faces , I got a few pics but there pretty shit quality jus off a crap digital camera...
The bloke in the sr20 cam :eek: serious pilot love that yoke.

Was there today and yesterday....2 great days of drifting, Prodrift have really upped their game as regards the amount of seat time the drivers get now.. Cant wait to have my own car finished it has really given me the horn now.
As for DriftSham...Fair enough there can be teething problems, but as far as i could see yesterday it doesn't even exist :confused: If your gonna try start something like a club or whatever its meant to be then get your shit together before you even goin public with things cos all it does is make you look a bit silly!

Finished as the top 4 non-seeded drvers today.
Good days skidding today alright. Thank fook the weather held off. Hopefully tomorrow draws in a bigger crowd and there is a better atmosphere about the place. Watching the pro's driving today was amazing and really inspiring stuff.
Had a good day too. Delighted the car was reliable given what it is lol, apart from when clutch overheated but that's the joys of it.
The pro's really are some pilots and give a great show. Roll on tom :)
On a bad note tho the track time does leave a lot to be desired, I think the groups should be split up even more, say 10 cars per group cause you go do a lap and join the end of the que for 20 mins so you only manage 3 or 4 laps with large intervals, that may be ok for the lads who are well used to it but it's hard as an amature to get any rhythem for the track.

Well what can i say, mental track, entry was scary, had such a bad day but still had a laugh! Between shredding tires and rims, no practice, boost probs, cans of monster, garda chases n taco chips, i can say i had a good day! The pro's really show on tracks like this, fairplay to Wez, jay, barry n larry........great qualify for Jay today!!

Have to say a very well done & well deserved victory for Barry today. Finally got the break he deserved. Was looking bleek this moning when he was towing the car around the car park trying to get it started.
Top marks to Finbar Brennan for his mad entries & giving us lots of entertainment in his driving.
Myself & Francis o Shea were mad for a few shots at the backwards entries but not quite there yet lol.
On another note I have to say hats of to Donal Gary for having that little corolla back on track today after the massive impact it took yesterday evening. It takes some serious dedication to repair a car with that damage overnight & he was flying today. Fair play man.

Totally agree, can't see why they can have a screen or something up on the back of the judges' tower, with things like the entry speed and the score for each qualifying lap as it happens, and announce it as well. Would be better for the drivers, and also have a huge affect on getting the audience involved.
Was up there fri and sat, fair play to nixon and the pd lads on the practice friday was well run and loads of track time, nobody behind sinnot can see shit:D heally ur sum man to put on a show and mark in the chaser needs to be doing pd proper fair play to barry gud sliding all weekend fergals entries ftw!!!!

Just in the door now , got 257 videos and pics of the day. Nixon - the smoke coming out of that van is un fucking believable and gem - your some pilot fair play . The driftireland train was great , I'll put up what I have of ye when I sort it all out . Was too lazy to leave the Inoc stand all day so didnt see any other stand :rolleyes:
greeeeeat weekend, looved it... have to say for me the most impressive over all was Donal Garry, haha nearly wrote the car of on the friday and he stayed up fixing it till 5 in the morning for the next day, impressive dedication, car looked well used and abused for the weekend haha props to ya dude serious driving....
also Jamweeeee put on a great show for someone who built a car and driving it for his first time at drift jam after not being on a track for some while, respect man, goood job, EPIC...
and the hole new 4 cars on the track at the one time is the best thing prodrift ever introduced... team DI ftw, the monster cans were sooo good, yas will be known for that, the crowd loved it....
some lovely street cars at the stands too, ah overall greeat weekend. bring on Citywest, woop woop..

What an epic weekend!! What can i even say??? Saturday was a bit slow with the weather but today just made up for it!! Some serious driving by everyone out there today! As said by so many, Donal Gary(Bonzai Corrolla Guy)-pure dedication! Fair dues man! Colfer the Golfer congrats on the win!! it must be the monster tent doing it for ya!!
