Your diff is probably fine, chances of it being damaged are fairly slim.
All you need is a different casing, and fit your 2 way into that,
Ive done it a few times, nothing major:cool:

how would the diff not be damaged???

when it happened i was doin donuts and hit a random steel plate coveribg a shore at about 3500-4000 rpm..

when i was limping home the diff was banging someting feirce an when i got literally onto my road the back wheels locked..

do you tink i have to replace the casing coz i was told by a very good mechanic t was my crown and pinnion that caused the damage:confused::confused::confused:

If its the crown and pinion thats gone, then your sorted, cos they just bolt onto the diff, and can be replaced.
I have a casing here with a 4.1:1 ratio from my 180sx, its a non ABS version, so has no speed sensor.
If you want to drop me your old diff, il build up with the 4.1 crownwheel and pinion in my casing, and away you go. I would be very very surprised if your diff is damaged
