How much you paying for fedeals in 235's........

The Kumhos are unbeliveable once there warm but it takes a lot to warm them up and when your sitting waiting to go out ya can't get them warm so your running cold tyres....... They wear very quickly aswell.......

R888 savage tyre aswell but not great in the wet..........

Thats exactly what i was thinking lad, I never drove with 888's but they dont seem to have a sufficent thread pattern for very wet weather.

I borrowed a set of K60 kumho's for mondello in damp/wet conditions and found them very good.

I bought the federals last year from camskill at 50-55 euro a tyre i forget...
Them i had to give a few bob to get them fitted each time :(

Edit : your right again they are a very poor wearing tyre aswell so i dont know
Put a few wet grooves in the 888's rally style :)

The kumhos are very expensive for them to wear away so quick.........

Im running hankook rs2's at the minute and i can't fault them wet or dry....... There an underated tyre in my eyes and they work nearly instantly and there hard wearing but when they do go il be going for them again......Cheap aswell.......

Cut a few grooves alright!!!!!!!

Right job.......:D:D

I ran 235/45/17 federal 595 RS on the front last year ,massive tire for dry + wet conditions, Use them on the road aswell + never had a hint of understeer.
Will be running the same tires this year.

I used 225/45/17 federal 595ss on rear last year, good tire for the dry, grip isnt great in the wet though.
I'm going to up grade to 235 or 245/40/17 595ss on the rear this year.

chance the kuhmos frankie, unreal tyre. yes slightly on the pricey side and do take a bit to get warmed up but its a small price to pay for savage front end grip. After a few practice laps the should be plenty warn.

I would go for medium compound as the k21's really dont last pissing time. make sure you check aswell what ones send you out;)

Hard to beat the 595s for the money lad, good drive, smoke and wear. If it's any good to you I used Toyo T1R's on the back in the pissing rain in Ennis last year and came 2nd, apparently I was coming in harder than most in non seeded so they seem to be good in the wet...
