Ok so I won a JZX100 1JZ manual chaser in auction Friday night/early Saturday morning.
160,000kms grade R due to replaced bonnet and front wing. Also small crack in front bumper but apart from that according to auction sheet it has a fairly tidy body.
I only have 3 photos yet and don't know how to upload them on my phone so will try get them up in the next few days from a computer.
Bought it through OPJP in England as they aren't far from where I'm living now and for £500 they MOT it, tax it for 6 months and install rear fog light and do all the paperwork needed to get it on the road.
Don't really know much about JZ or chasers as I'm more a RB person so any input welcome.

Went from rb to 1jz myself. Prefer the 1jz but its still new to me so going to be prejudiced that way anyway. Best of luck with it. Oh and pics please!

looks funky , did you get the dash lights checked out ? is she running ok ??
the 1j's are a great engine . some sound off em . you wont be disappointed.

I presume it's running ok. Small leak in radiator but OPJP said they'd get that replaced for me before it leaves Japan. Don't know about dash lights... will ask them now though. And thanks for uploading the pictures properly for me! 😊

ya just looked like a lot of lights, and the engine man light on . might not be a big deal though. expect for the bumper its a very clean car .

for the pics when you copy the link on photobucket put at the start of the link and at the end and the display as i have them.

Colour is sweet lad, I wos waiting 5 months for mine to come prepare for symptoms of depression haha, well worth it tho the jz is unreal

Thanks lad. Wasn't really in a rush to buy. But when I saw this I wanted it. Colour goes really well with the car i think and probably was the main reason for me wanting this over any other chaser. Probably set my budget over the odds but I've missed cars I've wanted before thinking about it too much or not willing to pay enough and regret it now.

Nice car, great colour. In regards the lights on the dash, seatbelt light, Hand brake light, door open light, maybe airbag light, one of the orange lights is because you have series 2 tail lights on a series 1 car, the other orange light could be the TRC which comes on if you modify/unplug the TRC cable in the engine bay. Hope this helps.
