plans are to get the arches filled with new wheels
fit my omps i have
sort the cooling as shroud of the car due to front mount need to relocate battery to the boot
tidy the engine bay and more guages
got an oil pressure and boost option guages and a new hks mushroom filter, filter fitted

Great potential in it Micheal looks pretty tidy as it is id be more inclined to keep it that way with a nice set of fat wheels but dont put a bgw on it that's my opinion best of luck with it

Hyper CST's in 18 x 9.5 all round ;) JDM Distro has a shipment coming in soon with them and all, 4 brand new CST's are under €1,100, would pick them over shitty rotas any day...

I think Kruizers on the ball there I'd be goin the same lines. Nice car for the money for sure! Needs a bigger back bumper to pull off the kit. Is it a turbo conversion or why has it a non-VVT engine?

Ok a bit of an update.
my passenger headlight full beam had no voltage so gonna run a wire across from driver side
knock in coilover driver side
removed the drift bits sticker!
driver door packed up so hardship to get door open the clip that holds the handle in was loose, fixed.
wipers acting up stopping at middle of the window?
need a few interior bits and getting a new washer bottle and fuse cover and that from petko if he has them also new clear side lights
need a deep rear bumper too in red.
also will be fitting a turbo timer boost and oil pressure guage plus rsm it already has a fcd i already had these laying around. the speedos not working so rsms for that.
decided on the wheels i want too work vs will swap the advans for them if i can.
pass the nct and fit my omps.

silver rsm fitted with stand also hks ssv bov fitted.
also sent off the tax book again as it had the original white on the book
got it back today as red, had to go to nissan to get the car checked, chassis plate to the book
taxed for three months
also waiting on new wiper motor as the one in the car stops the wipers halfway
and washer bottle as it never came on the car.
few issues to sort such as the fan cowling going for electric fans id say as cowling wont fit
noise in steering starting to think its the brake calipers as its constant noise until i brake.
battery isint great shes needed a few jumpstarts, still have to retest it.
need to spray wheels too and get guages in aswell as fix speedo

Ok update time my zenki has been through the nct 3 times and failing on emissions, sky high each time, the last time she had a lambda sensor a new cat and diptaine. will try ecu and check all gaskets for leaks etc.
then car started getting sluggish as i drove it ended up not starting and still wont start. no spark so checked all coilpack etc cas unit so coil igniter im presuming so waiting on that part from lady 89 i might have monday.

spraying my calipers and compounding headlights

need to collect my bride low max and a set of 50mill spacers for the back
find an alloy rad with twin fans also rear diffuser
connect the coil igniter when it arrives.

changed ecu emissions went down then it passed the nct, only 6 attempts so i got a year of a disc.
picked up works vskfs for the back for now have a third found and need a 4th.

so i put some spacers on and got a lend of 2 enkei rpf01s which im now in love with along with the works. new skirts on the way from dori rory and need new extended wheel studs for the whole car. here how she sits now,

ordered driftworks solid steering bushing and the rack ones too hopefully sort out some of the sloppy steering.
also ordered extended wheelnuts for the front and the back.
also braided brakelines front and back also driftworks.
bumpers getting sorted wings stonechips new sideskirts and back bumper ohh and pressed plates all this weekend.

new skirts painted front bumper smoothed and repaired also painted, turns out its a custom colour and matched as best as we could. 20mm spacers on back and driftworks brake lines fitted, superpro steering rack bushings fitted waiting on origin streamline back bumper to arrive.

thanks davy and tom. well my sprayer brought in the petrol cap to a place that would be well able to match it but it just didnt show up so made the closest colour possible to the paint itself. its a fairly custom colour. back bumper arrived so hopefully be altogether in the morning.

it was covered on mould and corrosion! so changed ecu and started no problem.

the cowling for some reason wouldnt fit without a severe amount of cutting so it wouldnt have been anyway near stable..

Ok so it been a while since i posted. Back in the money pit called college! few niggly bits to get done im not sure about my skirts anymore dont get me wrong they look ok but id nearly throw on the old ones for japfest and lower the car to the last. smoother lines. need to change the tie rods or track rods as shes throwing the car about a little. also got new top mounts as mine are banging like fuck.

ok so car died in traffic started spluttering. no power. got it sorted at chamber performance in dublin. the altenator was fine. bad connections on the poles. simple fix. few brighter headlight bulbs and new filter replacement. had to get a recovery truck.

been a while with college and placement and xmas and new years and getting a new partner haha! shes into cars and wants to learn so she will have her hands full! right properly fecked off over the car as ive no shed its outside dark cold and wet! shes on axlestands at the front so i wont put up pics as it might break hearts!
ive lights out bonnet off frontmount and piping battery afm and filter off and power steering resevoir done. hard to have motivation when your on your own at this i want to do the bay too so hence the strip so silver lining.

thanks lads lots of things on my mind with it its love, want to have her looking low and stanced yet do a track day and not freak over blowing an engine or wrecking the kit yet take it to a wedding and it to be seen as a sports car not a "boy racer car" as narrow minded fools would call it. want to have roadtrips with herself and just enjoy it.
ill always have her and by the time ive my degree in 2 years she should be fully completed then its real world like a house etc. the otdoors is not the place to build a car realy but thats life.

no units around lady89 trust me ive looked and im doing it all on my own so im doing what i can when i can so see areas for improvement so got more into this now and started removing easy bits and bobs. labelled the plugs with tippex to there connections so will know what goes where to remove and reconnect them. down pipe engine mounts and driveshaft by the diff to do but waiting on a crane still! not enough hours in the day. went to mondello for autoheroes three met david conlon and dave speers had a good time. serious motivation got! also finally tried the spacers on one side and i need a 50 mm!

engine all unbolted and wiring. all odd bolts in the downpipe and one diff bolt gave hell but all done, by myself which im happy about. dropped other engine upto stiv at md tuning and the redtop will be going up once ive it out. once engine is ready and rebuilt car will be dropped up for some work.

light bit of sanding and stripping done then went to town with a wire wheel so got a lot of the heavy stuff off. as you all can see its still in but working on it. the shite that sticks to the body is unreal. wrecked after the long weekend shifts at work as well as placement but fair proud of my progress and ive an idea of what goes where etc.

fucking yes with 2 e10 corollas shining lights got the sr20det out and separated the box too learned a lot. all loaded in the jeep ready for Stiv McPherson. big thanks to my father and Pilib O'Duinn for the help and Joe Maher for the crane not bad after a 12 hr shift its now 1am! found an m28 garrett turbo welded to manifold and the clutch i couldnt see a make. separated it all and loaded. so happy thats done before heading for dublin again.

ok so more work done got fusebox out and dash as it was cracked anyway more to do get battery tray out and sort the bay fully in primer off for 2 weeks from thursday but will have work so squeeze as much work in as i can. have mt helmet for autoheroes too when cars ready!

off for two and a half weeks dude from thursday so flat out on her. not the only one whos ocd either haha

getting there lads and ladies. right battery tray is rust and underneath so getting it plated. shes just ready to roll. have rear anti rool bar off to do all the bushings and links. primed the skirts for paint. ran wires back through for engine and fuse box so about 90% of wires together. have to rewire the alarm wires and has to be cut to remove. also tucked the fusebox wires nice and high. need two bolts for the shocks to put her rolling. the ecu wiring is a joke theres tape everywhere so all that will be sorted.

the new dash i got is fairly clean compared to the old one so happy

one bent into a loop! so that is had a great chat with stiv about what to do and whether to rebuild the engine or get a vvt sr20 loom and ecu. rebuilding means bigger pistons and a whole engine rebuild really with forged pistons etc or buy a vvt and take a gamble even seeing it run and further down the line making it more reliable for the 350 to 400bhp figure i want finished so time to think.

more progress painted sunroof and fitted wings and lights rad and front mount core just to have it done, theres 45mm spacers on the back and need 50 so got sorted there and 20mm on the front.
need to refit the rear antiroll bar with new droplinks and rubbers.
spray the inside of the boot as i sanded it all down.
get plate welded in at battery tray
spray that then after hole cut for front mount.
spray skirts also and remopved that gunk shite ahat held previous skirts on it took some paint so need touch up around the car.
sort the two rear 10j wheels i have for the back then move works to the front.
see what happens then looking to go holset after some reading around a hy35.

so after a lie in tomorrow ill put the propshaft back together and tidy up as well as all the bolts for gearbox etc get them lined up etc sort the seal for the shifter. tidy the engine up a little too. collect the parts from stivs next weekend as hes not available, get the plugs in coilpack hard race engine mounts rockerstoppers all that and a new release bearing from petko. do as much as i can then up on a trailer and off to be finished wiring wise and hopefully colour chance as theres red s14s everywhere!!!

where do i start with this installment. ok ive finished palcement and college for the summer so im back working. got all oils into the car so far fixed the rad asd it got a tipgetting twin fans onto it asap and ive changed the altenator and power steering belts and popped in the rockerstoppers i had. sending battery to the boot and washer bottle so need to get that done and need a cutter to do the hole in the new plate in the engine bay. also the colours being picked for the over haul and maybe new wheels ive a set sourced : ) the cars getting wrapped in a colour ive fallen for and never really seen here. cut out old headlight wiring as it was a joke and went back to the donor s14 ive got lots of parts off and cut it out so to wire that up too. dean robinson really sold me on the rap. having seen the car in person a few times now and i just want it done so the guy doing it can take the bumpers wings bonnet quarters and have them done before he sees the car and then take a day or two to do the rest.

so he brought the car to waterford to be wrapped the rest of the panels were done before the shell arrived. now a few people here might be wondering why the wrap and not paint?
right this is why,,
1.the amount of complaints on facebook about shit sprayers and people that i know personally being screwed around, some even on this. didnt want my time wasted and excuses. wanted the car for summer.
2. matching the colour i wanted would be impossible if any panel was damaged regardless how good a sprayer is.
3. did my research, checked out dean robinsons s14 and that really sold me on it. the detail around his ganadors especially was unbelievable.
4. the wrap is good quality and from the company that supplies it have a 7 year guarentee as well as mantas who wrapped it gives a 2 year. will fix anything i need if not happy. was also cheaper had the car panels done in a few days and the shell in 2. i was going to keep the colour a surprise to people on this but now i really dont give a fiddlers.

skirts and front bumper arent on yet as the car is at lennys as he is finishing the car off for me as he knows what hes at for one and im back working fulltime, highly recommend him in the work he does and the recovery. hes getting her to fire which is still an issue tracking wiring etc.he cut out the alarm as well it was a joke!went zenki too back lights sold the kouki ones. thanks to adrian moran for them and a few headlight rubbers. got a catch can to go in. lenny has the bay tidied even more.

wrapping in my opinion is going to be big due to the cost of spray jobs and the horror stories that have been happening regarding spray jobs in ireland. car was originally white was sprayed red. was a custom red too. i changed the colour as i got a few bits done with the old bumper and skirts and in photos it doesnt match. also there was too many 14s in red going around i know a few. ha my car is far from oem shall we say now but i love the zenki look hence keeping her like that. the colour i picked is a colour i based on going to the garage in 5 years time and still liking it sitting there in that colour. i was toying with purples but once again lots of them too and i just dont want the car to date itself. thanks for the reply and yes theres lots more to come!!

Ya well custom colours look great once there done rite an if ur that picky about paint im sure the wrap must be perfect. Looks very well in the pics anyway.

I got my car sprayed but only cos i knew the painter was unreal an well priced an im not a fan of wrap.

jesus its been months since i got a chance to update. i swapped the vskfs to the rear as the images were way too wide and put the enkeis back on the front got car sorted for jae in newark in england, savage weekend will be heading back there. before i left that thursday the rad was fucked so i ordered a new japspeed one and silicone hoses and changed the coolant temp sensor as it was acting the prick.

was a leak from the rocker gasket throwing oil onto yhr manifold and into the dash only when accelarating i changed the seal
gearbox speedo seal ive now changed
and heater matrix no heating i put in new hoses so still to check

waiting on a lambda sensor to arrive a brand new genuine one before i try run the car as id rather it wasnt lumpy and fill up with oil. need wheels a zenki vented bonnet if possible and looking at a dmax type 3 bumper also looking for front antiroll bar bushes or brackets that fit normally. mine seem squashed.

got a free bonnet off a friend and cut it to fit. strange going at a bonnet with a grinder. zenki bonnets are very curved but got in on and done its primered now need small bits of filler. ill sort that then its getting wrapped.

bought 18s off adrian walsh theyre works. dishes on the rears are fecked like need sanding theyve a layer of chrome plating on them thats coming off. the rears fit but the front wont clear the calipers and i can try a spacer to clear but i dont want to cut my extended wheel studs, always something! front are 9s rears are 10s.

put fronts on got the 25 mm spacers off the back on the front now and wheels on awaiting 50mm rear ones. fucking couriers fucked up the delivery 3 days late so far. so with the 10s on the back we will see how they fit should be stanced enough for everyones approval haha. got the right 27mm front antiroll bar bushes, superpro polybush, in and perfect.

seats are perfect no rips could do with a small clean if picky. need a heater matrix core. few niggley bits to do thinking of sending it to the mechanic i normally get for the parts im not able to do. if im to have it done in time.

heaters in and working thank fuck i changed the matrix itself and both the cores tested both ok. finally have heat. emptied out the car. currently has no seats in it, been collected by hawk recovery to go to a garage in kk to sort washer bottle etc. all thew work is just done, seats should be ready in a few days to bolt in. then nct! need a decent bumper and probably change the wheels again.

collected the seats in clonmel this morning from tuxedo fabrication and performance, massive thanks check them out. the detail is unreal even down to the logo on the rails, fitted them then. fit perfect.

in kilkenny im surrounded by gt4s! theres 4 owned by 3 close friends. great car to drive!

got number plates on bumper and mocked up indicators also fitted the grille. the mirror switch is back working and ive separated old clock for the rev counter as mine started fucking up.

nect is get it nct ive a leak from the rack boot i think fix a side skirt thats it i think
then bring to waterford and wrap the bonnet and flush that vent as the rivits are annoying me and wrap the bumper
then to clonmel to tuxedo to lower the seats more and shine up the boot lid there.

car is nctd flew thge test just had to change the tyres as they were stretched. so happy about that. made it to mondello for autoheroes after bringing spare wheels etc the stretch on the front made it steer like shite and a serious vibration. had a loose tie rod so sorted that too. since then the manifold blow from the turbo to the downpipe that gasket is fucked. the sump is leaking and the rocker cover was too. changed all the seals in the rocker cover so thats sorted. had the turbo out to find the leak was missing a few bolts so replaced them i hate fucking turbo lines braided or not!
getting the lips polished at the moment on the works theyve grown on nme and plus i bought new 18s for the rear wil need 18 inch tyres for the front two but in due course. christ its all money.

Been a while.So got the wheels back from jeff nelson all polished and on the car. raised the car a bit ans still rubbing a little at the rear but fuck it!then went to killarney but before that the manifold one decided to crack the prick so got it welded and put back on and cracked again said fuck this and bought a standard manifold from donal mooney and a standard s14 journal turbo from charlie williams. got a gasket from both petko and jack brett! irish post is a joke. so ive a spare manifold to turbo gasket there. put it altogether and still smoking but not as much so think its the downpipe warped its a new gasket on that too. the old turbo was welded to the manifold from the last owner so its sitting in the boot of my corolla. its smoking as i accelerate or going up a hill or incline.http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag434/michealkirwan0125/20170427_165933_zpsswandnmr.jpg (http://s1374.photobucket.com/user/michealkirwan0125/media/20170427_165933_zpsswandnmr.jpg.html) one of many attempts to seal.

been a while, car all in one colour had an issue with oil feed line to turbo, rethreaded it and all good no more smoke or leaks.
brought to the donegal rally and entered a show and shine. a rattle came into it stopped car turns out the bottom end bearings decided to let go.
