Story??
I registered here back in early December, Figured I should probably introduce myself.

My name is Adam, I run a company in Blanchardstown called "The Oil Store" alongside my Father. Been into cars since I can remember. I have always had VTEC Hondas and the odd turbo starlet .

I picked up a 1997 Skyline GTST series 2 back in December. Was in need of an overhaul. Spent about 3 months working on it and have her on the road now since early March.

The car was standard. Current mods are
Walbro Fuel Pump
Apexi WS Suspension
Nismo Calsonic Muffler
HKS Turbo Timer
GREDDY oil filter & Sump Plug
R34 GTT SMIC
HKS Super Hybrid Panel Filter

Hopefully driftireland can be of some use to me now that Ive joined the darkside of RWD.

Ive spent a good few quid on it maintenance wise since December and Ive some other small bits on the way from Kudos in OZ. So mainly just enjoying it.
I want to get the belts replaced including timing belt next.
I got an elbow and downpipe with the car, so the plan is to keep the Nismo muffler cause it has a silencer valve and get a mid pipe fabricated, then get it mapped with a HKS FCON I bought.

thanks man. its a spec 2. its almost a 1998 R33. December 1997 build.

be keeping it mostly stock. list of current mods are on page 1. I like OEM mods, i.e. I did the R34 GTT SMIC upgrade.

very hard to find any skyline in stock form, so I keep her as such for another while

Ive silver 32, would be down blanch way quiet a lot as go to ITB college

That would be me. Ha. Yeah myself and Adam had a brief driveby chat, car looked spotless. Mine was sitting up for a good while also, enjoyed fixing (sometimes) gives you a chance to really get to know your car inside out. Anyway enjoy.
