So after selling the R33 I decided I wanted something a bit more comfortable and practical for a while. A mechanic buddy of mine knew of this car and said that the owner was "the most anal fucker you've ever met when it comes to cars, so trust me its a good one!". That was enough to convince me to have a look at it and even before I drove it I knew I was having it. Thought being an auto would put me off it but I might never again drive a manual after driving this! Pictures do this car no justice it is absolutely immaculate apart from few stone chips and a scratch on the bonnet which I hope to sort in the future.

520i 2.2L Auto
Sterling grey
Full M-Sport
Alcantara Interior with black M-sport trim (by far the nicest interior combination you can get in these)

Plans:
So far I've installed an Auxillary input instead of the CD changer
I've ordered Black grills to replace the chrome ones
Thinking of getting some sort of front splitter
Would love to pick up a set of M-Paralells but on 18s I might have to get coilovers and I don't want to ruin the ride comfort of it.

Anyway..... pictures:

Bit sluggish to get going maybe but from 50-100mph she pulls like a train. Overtaking is a nice feeling when she drops a couple gears and goes

Best colour for an E39! Black trim is very rare in these too

Buy this but ask the seller for the female port when purchasing as it's a better job for aux input
