Picked this up a few months back. Got it vrtd and on the road and just enjoying being back in something rwd !

Bit rough around the edges but I kinda like it that way tbh. I got it mapped by Stiv on Nistune which made a wold of difference, just to fit a boost controller which I picked up last week. Apexi.

The dash also needs to be changed out as it's badly sun damaged just a matter of getting time. Along wit a few other silly jobs , heater stuck on hot, temperamental fuel gauge and so on.

Nice few other bits on it so happy out.

Hks coilovers
TEIN tension rods
Adjustable camber arm
Five stud conversion
3" exhaust system from the turbo back
18" Professors
Cusco front strut bar
Spatt rear strut bar
Greddy fmic
Hks intake
Hks adjustable actuator
Z32 afm
Yashio factory rad
Yashio factory temperature gauge
Blitz boost gauge
There is probably more that I haven't got around to dissing out yet but I'll post them up once I do.

Changed out the "fast and furious" steering wheel to a sweet timber job. Not a Nardi it's a Preyton which makes the view from the drivers seat a bit better

Also on the look out for some new seats. Hoping to get a set of Recaros with the large logo. Bride will probably go up for sale or px

Let me know what ye think any way

Bad ass looking PS that man, good job ! :) That old wheel was a bit shit though haha.

"A bit shit" is an understatement really , especially since it's rocking two NoS buttons.

Plans are to get it tidied up a bit more, new seats , dash, get it fully serviced and just a few choice bits to add a personal touch.

As far as tiding up the bumpers go, I'll wait until to go in complete shite, as I'd say I won't be able to match the colour in a month of Sunday. Plus it's nice not to have the worry of wrecking them if they were mint.

A few pics of the branding on them not sure if they are just copies of something else really?

They seem a real good and strong bumper.

Also sorted out the tail lights with a rag and carb cleaner. Pleasantly surprised to find a set of 50/50 underneath all that gank tint! Another job off the list.

hahaha... they're shit speakers and personally i'm not into the light up logos but they're much jdm, very audio... so i want them! can only imagine how many cool factory option parts were binned over the past 20 years here in ireland... that said they do look pretty cool in that photo. I have the carrozzeria factory tweeters alright, but not the parcel shelf speakers. there's another model of carrozzeria speakers too that look a little more understated, without the light up bit. either way, i want them all :p

Haha same as that myself. Just love the naff over the top Jdm-ness of em. Even the amount of cool double din head units that got the bullet in place of the latest halfords specials

I'll hold onto a while lar. But you'll be first on my hit list if I ever decide to break or sell it, since you seem to be buying up every s13 part available in the country ;)

LarZ
04-11-14, 17:23
haha no worries... I do know that if i had your car i'd fit the clear lenses because they'd look sweet :) Plenty s13/ps13 parts out there that i can't afford to buy and/or haven't bought yet lol

The blacked out lights were cool.

That's a genuine kit and not a copy. M sports is made by a company called Mac. D-style is basically a line up of aero that M sports, WISE SPORTS, PROVENCE and Final Konnexion produced.

Good to know bud. Thanks for the info. I think the lights were a bit of a " marmite" issue.

Looking forward to seeing what other bits are on it once I get it up on a lift.

I looked at your thread, they are definitely M sports. They never put the M sports stamp on the fenders, just D-style. Front should be 20MM rear should be 50MM.

Finally got the car up on a lift to give it a fast once over and a change of oil.

Car is fairly clean underneath with a few more nice bits here and there , adjustable TEIN and cusco arms, a handy sump gaurd.

Some one welded in plates to strengthen up the front lower control arms which is a cool touch and the whole car has been seam welded too, I presume for strenght.

All the bushing look good including a solid steering wheel bush, which is one less thing to worry about for the NCT.

The oil filter was the devil to get off took nearly two hours of shouting and grunting , filter straps and chains before finally getting it out with the screw driver hammer method. But happier now it has a fresh lock of oil.

Anyway a few crappy pics. Must try and get more when I'm sorting out the exhaust , which has a blow or two and needs a tweek to get it sitting right on the bumper.

Not much to update only trying to getting it through the nct. Pain in da hole!

Fitted a set of standard seats and a steering wheel out of a sunny to save trying to get engineers report for them.

http://i958.photobucket.com/albums/ae70/rmcyes/1E871C6A-DAD1-471A-85A3-0F65D4BFA176.jpg (http://s958.photobucket.com/user/rmcyes/media/1E871C6A-DAD1-471A-85A3-0F65D4BFA176.jpg.html).

It failed on a few small things ball joint and a missing split pin, all easy fixes.

Also failed on not having any silencer on the exhaust system. Never mentioned noise but I presume once he seen no silencers he didn't bother testing it. Picked up a japspeed cat back and I have an Apexi ECV which should sort things.

Billy_P

Nice ps dude,,
Yea the s14 failed on noise last month, EVC done the job perfect and sailed through second time round.

rmc
23-01-15, 19:04
Well very little done just getting it tested. Failed on a ball joint which lead to me finding out it's running s14 arms which is a bonus. Failed also on noise. But tested up for a year any way.

Got my bride fitted which I'm trilled with nice and low too! Managed to get my hands on a genuine bride super low rail thanks to Crex.

Also fitted a new exeddy stage 2 paddle clutch. Bit of a kick in the hole as the clutch in it was fine only for a noisy "it will be grand" release bearing , which seized and chewed the fingures off the pressure plate of my once sweet Orc twin plate!!

Might get it rebuilt , any one with any experience of this comment away.

Also a big thanks to cac Motorsport in carrigtwohill for sorting a clutch for me next day. And Hp autos for fitting it.

Next up is fit a new dash and an electronic boost controller.
