Well lads long story short since the age of about 13 i has always wanted an s15 remember seeing one in a Mag before and going nuts so i put myself in the market for one I tried for a few months to import but didnt want something highly tuned which most were so i set put for a project car that would be standardish therfore recently i purchased myself a 2001 Genuine Spec r(August 2014)
Car was known to me for years was really poorly cared for and basically left to rot so I struck a deal with previous owner with the intentions of gutting her back and totally redoing it in my own time to my own spec!
Body wise she's shot needs a full revamp and sanding
Due to being off the road there's surface rust on suspenision
arms and subframes so all this will be removed and underbody totally sealed and cared what ever I need new will be bought
Engine wise she's standard all the way through no goodies on her just usual spec r step
as said above car is dirty and very untidy atm I've a long long way to go but look forward to learning about the sr20s and the silvia models
Will get some pics up of her when I'm home from work with my plans and progress so far
Here's some of when I got her first people on here should no this car

Congrats on getting the car you really wanted to get! Car isn't the worst condition, but it will need a lot of work ! Really looking forward to see the process and it look the way you want it to ! Best of luck with the build. :)

Looks like a cool project. Most of the stuff seems to be bits that you can pick away at yourself which is great. Defo change/repaint those wheels though! Best of luck with it.

Seen dis in Middleton the other day while pickin up a friend shell. Plenty potential in it nd doesn't look that bad in the metal. Although the mini leakin oil all over the bonnet nd onto the head light didn't impress me at all. Best of luv wit the build pal

The mini that was leaking had a stupid oil gauge in it which was leaking its now all perfect amazing what a pin hole can do oil all over the place!
