Im going to get new spark plugs for my r33 gtst. The new denso iridium power plug looks good. Has anyone tried them? Are they good? Also the number listed for my car is ik16. Should i go higher or is that ok for my car?

the popularly held belief on so.com is that densos are useless and that in rb engines will melt the tips off.

Everyone has used the NGK- BRIX VII (including myself) they`re really god and they can be got for like £45 on www.skylineowners.com.

NGK all the way.

I've used the denso's for the last 3 years without problem, usually tip melting is due to poor mapping rather then plug failure.
Ik16 is very hot for an rb.
IQ20 for a standard engine, IQ22 for stage one(intercooler, pump, intake, exhaust, upto 0.85bar) and IQ24 and up depending on how mad you go!

I think your man ordered in ik 20s by mistake. Would they be beter for it or worse? I have intercooler, exhaust, air filter and boost controller.

With those mods(and a fuel pump I hope if your upping your boost at all) then you'll need IQ22

IK's are used with sr engines not rb's

would ik27 be better to get than the ik24 as there a colder plug
or is it too much and be better off wit the ik24's.

You don't need any more the IK22's, 24's and especially 27's are way too cold!

The IK20's are fine for your N/A
They are available(usually to order) from any motorfactors but whatch the price, some places charge daft money for them.

Price also NGK BRK7EIX, they are NGK's iridium plug and will do the same job.
