Who's up for some random monday drifty awesomeness?
As most of you will already know from Facebook, we're organising a fund raising drift day for Barry Hennessy and Stephen Waugh to try and get them back out on track as soon as possible. 100% of the proceeds from the day go towards the two lads. We're looking at it as a celebration that the two lads got out safely. We have a reason to smile and the drift community is responding BIG TIME.
We've got well over 5k worth of automotive related prizes to give away and tickets are only 5euro. They can be purchased online (http://tiny.cc/JustJapRaffleTicket) or on the day. Buy as many as you want, 100% of proceeds goes to the two lads.
We also have a FREE show and shine competition. Prizes include photoshoots, web features and sticker packs. Show and shine is free to enter. Would Driftireland be interested in setting up a stand? We've gotten a lot of interest in this, especially from people who are usually working during modified live and japfest. All breeds of car welcome. There are even talks of some muscle cars and rare italians making an appearance. Show and shine is free to enter, just be at the pits before 9.20am.

2. Jack Shanahan - Winner BDC rd1 2014
3. Wesley Keating - Backwards entry specialist and heart and soul of the drift community
4. Dave Egan - Head of IDC and unbelievable driver himself.
5. Brian Egan - 800kg 350bhp 5th gear clutch kicking lunatic who's hotly tipped for this year's championship.
IDC is setting up shop selling merchandise, they'll have their truck and tents all kitted out. Their hoodies are only 30 quid. Thanks so much to IDC for supporting us. They're just unreal this year. Any of you who were in mondello last weekend will most likely agree.
NKC are bringing up their drift karts, similar setup to Japfest. I've always wanted to try that myself.
DI Motorsport are going to have their scales there and are available for a 5euro consultation regarding suspension alignment and chassis setup. They'll talk you through the whole process.
Mr Hobbs will be there pumping out the beats with his pit girls who need no introduction at our drift days!
There's a dedicated pit set up for photoshoots. Just grab a media person and organise a timeslot with myself. I'll have a desk set up at pit 7. Get professional quality pictures taken of your car and who knows, maybe even a web feature.
Justjap will have hoodies and tshirts on sale. We finally got our stock so you can represent with all the cool kids.

Entry is 10euro on the gate. Passenger rides are 10euro and raffle tickets only a fiver, and you can buy as many as you want.
