View Full Version : latest datsun ! zenki s14 road car
well lads ! i bought this off darragh a few weeks back sed id throw up a few pics ! since buying it ive done abit of work, mostly to do with getting the wheels to fit how i want haha :grin:
spec is good on it full origianl navan kit, all original interior cusco zero 2 coilovers, adj tension rods, fmic, boost controller, bb turbo, tomei elbow an downpipe, un known catback, cosworth steel head gasket, hks filter, cusco brake master cyl stopper, theres a good bit more im prob missing ! wheels i bought are my old ones ! 18x9.5 work rezax and 17x9 volk mesh , just fitted bigger tyres to the front today so shes getting there now!!
left to do is fix driver wing, track it an nct it, also wana extend lower front arms just to get abit more camber on front ! then hopefully drive it an enjoy it for a bit ! heres a few random pics

update !!! sooo matt above /\ /\ /\ bought my wheels as a friend of mine had a set of brand new grids i just couldnt pass up !!! got about to fitting them... with a 25mm front spacer ! they are 18x9.5 et20 all around. spent aaages getting the front of the car to line up right getting all panel gaps an shit even ,

Can u fill the waves before paint or would they crack eventually if u hit potholes etc? sorry for spamming ur thread!!
i put a small skim of filler on them just to straighten them , it shudnt crack like unless i hit pot hole on full lock haha
have the whole front stripped off now an the wings with a friend being painted! wings are filled juSt need prime an apaint !

Alan sold this Silvia about this time last year not long after finishing it off. It didn't change much from how it looks in the pictures but may have some since he sold it.

mk2glenn on here had it for a wile and sold it to 1 of his friends, now he has it back up for sale. tempting buy. its still around tho. on bronze rotas now.
Yea I had it for a while, was pretty much same as in the thread here bar bronze wheels. Good power in it decent car. Still tested for a few months, round the 6k mark would buy it if anyone interested.
Who has it now? Was it clean Glenn?

car was fair clean when i had it if its wrecked now its a shame , u sure its the same car i doubt this was ever n/a ecu looked like it was never out had all 5 stud hubs and correct brakes diff and subframe for a turbo

by fair rough do u mean parts hanging off it. the car is not fair rough....its in good enough shape still. as good a shape as when alan had it.
I didn't see that car when he had it! It's still straight with no rust just a few bits needs painted that's what I meant! Was a good car on the road
Go buy a better car for the money see how you get on :rolleyes: it does need a few bits painted but at the money being asked for it, you could repaint the whole car and still have it sitting cheaper than most shit for sale at the min.
I also doubt it was ever non turbo, absolutely no evidence of any conversion work anywhere.
I own the car now, I bought it off Glenn.
The Zenki I wouldn't be calling rough compared to others for sure not. It needs spoiler and back bumper sprayed and a touch up close to a tail light and I don't see many Silvia's in better shape than it.
Good car with plenty of power in it. For the money I'd be asking its best value Silvia for sale. If you want a "minter" your gonna need a minimum of 7k so don't be bitching.
I couldn't quote on it ever being non turbo because I couldn't be 100% but I extremely doubt it.
Anyway its still a good car :)
Ok rough was a bit extreme on my part sorry for that what I meant was the bits to be painted to have it very clean! As I already said a good car mechanically I was going to buy it off Ian but was let down by a lift up so ended up holding off to see what's out there

In fairness as cool as they looked, the 18s were too big on it, you can still see the rub marks where they were catching front & back. I was for putting 17x9.5 CST Hypers on it.

Well theres boys here givin out about it being "rough" yet thinking its acceptable to get the arches pulled off it with 18s, even the kick panels in the front were bet back to fit them. Didn't bother me but just confused as to what people are expecting now as there isn't much else wrong with the car from when the pictures in this thread were taken
Also, if the person responsible for sticking the Silvia badge on in a ridiculously off centre position is on here, please show yourself til I shoot you :mad::p
i bet those Back its a datsun if it dont have big wheels it dont look good haha never rubbed when i drove it!
