Soooo after spending the last 8 or 9 years travelling and watching drifting from the fences after drift matsuri in wales in October i bit the bullet and bought my brothers 1jz 180 off him.
The spec is pretty simple engine is more or less standard but im happy with it for now anyway.
1jz non vvt
Standard twin turbos,
HKS f-con v-pro gold supplied fitted and mapped by tdp 368bhp
Trust front mount intercooler
100mm japspeed alloy rad
2x electic fans,
Radtec adjustable fan controller
Custom one piece stainless intercooler pipes by shane hayde
Fabricated oil cooler kit with remote filter and earls braided lines and fittings
Very tasty custom one piece stainless down pipe that links onto s body de cat and onto standard s body exhaust
BEE*R 3" exhaust with single rear silencer
greddy profec b boost controller
OBP 2 litre alloy swirl pot,
walbro n tank lift pump,
bosch 044 main pump
2x sytec billet filters (1 before and 1 after pump,
all aeroquipped stainless braided pipe and areoquip threaded fittings and ran inside the car and through the bulkhead properly.
k&n cone filter on stainless intake pipe
5 sped r154 box,
new toyota clutch kit
also have dw flywheel just not fitted
Custom 2 piece prop shaft using the standard carrier bearing by marcus nailer balanced etc
Kaaz 2 way 4.1 diff,
350 z brembo discs and calipers all round,
Cusco coilovers
Cusco front and rear strut braces
R33 lca's
Cutom front anti roll bar
DW front tension rods
DW rear camber arms
New custom toe arms,
New custom traction arms,
Subframe collars,
9.5 x 18 et20 ultralites all round
M sport front bumper
30mm front fiberglass wings
50 mm rear quarters, properly tubbed rear arches
Bomex side skirts, a
Rear apron on standard rear bumper
Kouki rear lights centre panel etc, car was a kouki!
Nardi wheel and removable boss
Corbeau pro series seat red on dw superlow frame
Red Bride recliner for passenger seat

Had great craic for the day with the car and the midget car!
Dove it hard all day with no problems what so ever :)
Was happy with the power, felt great and responsive!
But was very clear that the standard lock has to go!
Kind of left the car then for a month or so, saved up some money so now the work is gonna start..
First off stripped the interior, sold the bolt in cage and gave the car to John Stone to make me a weld in cage.

Got it back, stripped away the last bits of sound descending and cleaned everywhere to paint the interior (Really surprised how long this took)

I am gonna give it another coat some evening during the week and try brighten it up a bit.
I have ordered DW Front and rear hubs, tension arms and rack spacers and my new wheels, Cst hyperzeros
Over the next few weeks i am going to
Finish the interior.
Fit a new GP Sports Kit, Spoiler, canards etc.
Give the outside a respray
Possibly put in a new clutch..
Things should move pretty quickly then get as much practice in as i can before IDC at the end of march
