WGC34 Nissan Stagea fresh import

Ok so I had juuuuust finished the silvia and the mx5, when I saw that this thing had dropped in price as the owner had just had his first child and was willing to p/x.

I offered the mx5 and silvia against it but ended up with a deal thatl have it vrt etc for the price the 2 other yokes stood me.

I wanted one of these for a good while now, and was going to import from japan but this seemed too good to be true so went for it, and got it!

heres the spec taken from the add, car had rotas on it but said to myself a grand off the price was better than some rotas i could pick up anytime if i wanted

so the deal was i was told it wasnt running right. it developed a missfire and he had changed a load of things but nothing sorted it. i was expecting it to be a bad miss, but it only happens every now and again and 'shouldnt' be a big fix. plan is to get her running, get it nctd, and get some wheels finally. i drove it a good bit today and it pulls pretty damn hard, only missed a couple of times at low revs with foot slightly on throttle.

What's the story with the top of the turrets?? Iv seen other Stagea's with two bolt holes for the shock/coilovers like a Skyline and yours has 3 like a S body. I'm gonna guess different models but they all look the same

Most stageas are 4wd joe, and use r33 gtr set ups but as this is a factory rwd one its just all s14 stuff!

Yeah savage boat man. Hope the interior doesn't need much. Outside is pretty much sorted and to be fair it's one of the nicest stageas i've seen. Not sure about the job on the bonnet vent myself. Some big dirty wheels on it now and you'll be laughing all the way to the nearest petrol pump...

i like the bonnet vent! but it needs to be attached better, the back is just flapping up off the bonnet. wheels will of course be something worthy, but that may take time.

Class though. Fair play for importing another interesting car into the country.

numerous searches online and asking people who have stageas resulted in hearing that stagea shafts are actually longer than s or r bodies, but i went down to di motorsport for a root around and found this. Gona fit it and see how it works. pretty damn close, stagea is the one on top and the bottom is an s14 one.

a boring update but an update all the same, the corner lights got sprayed with the cars respray a few months back. this did not tickle my fancy. so i sanded through as much paint as I could without sanding the light itself, then left some paint remover eat into it, and scraped the remainer off. Makes the front end cleaner looking!

went to stick one on, realised the brakes are a lot bigger than my silvias brakes were, and that there was spacers on the front which i didnt know which is good

This car is epic, new wheels are perfect on it although the other rims kinda suited it too! Was watching it for ages on DW but just didnt have the money for it..

So glad it came to ireland, look forward to seeing/hearing it in the flesh, best of luck with it :)

yeh they looked well on it but i got 1k off for not taking them so it was a no brainer for a set of rotas. Im thinking of going down the route of OEM everything. like the wheels, some GTR seats, a nissan steering wheel back in it, and hopefully a 34 GTR front with oem looking conversion wings and a plastic bumper! maybe maybe

Would gtr shafts fit it? They'd be a lot stronger I'd be guessing.. Savage looking car too, I'd you could make a lot of lads that dont know what it is look stupid taking off from the lights in it
