fitted it with 20v and done a trackday and busted the gearbox right away so it g parked up since

wilst it was parked up i went to the darkside and bought myself a s14,

great car power to no end and the powersteering was nice but.....it felt so wrong who was i trying to kid, im a corolla man and always will be so... with the nissan out of me and my self shook into shape again i needed to come up with something which is different on this island and something whichis going to give me a nice blend of power and that all important n/a charicteristics for reliability(im not a forced induction man its just my style of ignorant driving)

what box are you going to use r154 or a w58 ? are ya going to make your own adapter plate or order one if the kits , i love these engines

haha that van gets more attention than a car ever would, cant wait to get this out just have to be carefull with the wiring for this one has a immobiliser in the key, ill be going either w58 or rx7 gearbox and im gonna cut the 2 bell housings and weld them together, take the cheap option

theres acually 3 seris of these engines, series 1 piece of piss no immobiliser ect, series 2 and 3 have immobilizer but im ok because all ive to do is delete the wires i dont need from th ls400 loom which will leave a very compact loom

started making a 2mm template for a adapter plate and all seems to be alligning up spot on, so wil transfer this to 10mm plate now, adapter is to go from 1uzfe-w85 i wanted to keepthe w58 bell housing and clutch for for maintance reasons

with the festive season over and a bit of a accident in the family i havnt got much done so its time to get back at this again, decide to get the front of the car benched as it had a previous damage to the front leg so its goin away monday to get that done, with it being previous rally car some muppet painted the inside and bay white and with it chipping off it is a real dogs dinner,,one of my hates is white interior n engine bay. after benching ill finish the front its getting a tube frame front and then blasted and painted

brake booster delete, i decided to run the front only brakes via pedal and rear via hydro handbrake, so made a plate to use a handbrake cylinder and will add a resovoir

Looking well now. Before ya go putting it in make sure ya have the ring gear flipped on that flywheel and that ya have the clutch fork pivot point spaced forward, i learned the hard way.

yeah got the flywheel redrilled and got a bevel put in the ring gear teeth!
