Im after buying myself an ae86 with a 20valve on throttle bodies and I put it through the test and they said it failed because the airbox was missing. Anybody ever have thos problem before?

failed because the airbox is missing? that's bollocks! go to a different centre if you can. or if you have an airbox, tie wrap it in before the nct lol

Yea its bolox ha.. no the trumpets are just open, would it be alright with filters on them?

Do you have the plastic stacks that come inside the std airbox? I cant see how they failed it on that. I know mine went through with the plastic stacks on it no problem!

the tester was just being awkward

airbox has nothin to do with the test
