S14 Speedo not working with S15 box

As the title says I've put an S15 box into my S14a and need to get the speedo working for the NCT. I know the 14's take a signal from the gearbox itself and the 15's take it from the diff so the sensor I have can't be put in the 15 box. I know some lads have used this converter box - http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=126/ - and used the ABS pulse from the ECU as a signal and convert that and stick it into the speedo. Anyone ever do this before or have any other suggestions?

Is it the whole cluster not working r just the speedo cause my speedo dosnt work and havnt had any trouble wit nct...

Well the tacho works perfectly sometimes and jumps all over the place other times.. I can fix that I think its the flux at the back of the clocks that's dry so I'll reflow that but the speedo isint connected to anything right now so its completely dead. Ah right I see, I'm guessin' thats because the nct dude is too busy lookin at his screen to take any notice.. I might stick it in and chance my arm but I'll need to fix it at some stage so I know what speed to slow down to when I see the boys in blue!

Yeah theres two lads here at work saying the same thing, weird that I woulda thought they'd fail ya straight up considering they're so fast to fail yeah on anything else! Sure I'll throw it in and see :p I might go ahead and give that conversion box a shot anyway and see where it gets me
