rb20/25 gearbox loom question

does anyone know are the rb20 and rb25 looms the same?

If you're fitting rb25 box to r32 you need:

rb20det gearbox loom (gearbox sensors, starter, alternator)
rb25 knock sensor wiring (from rb25 gearbox loom)

may also need to sort wiring for power steering rack (havent got that far yet!)

Why knock sensor wiring ? can you not just bolt a 25 box up to a 20 ?

if rb20 engine + rb25 box, then you use existing rb20 gearbox loom.

if rb25 engine + box, then you use above loom, but the knock sensor loom (tied in with gearbox loom) needs to be swapped
