My bmw e36 coupe

Well, new to the site :) Here's my car anyway. ( Nothing compared to most of the cars on this site! :D )

Selling the previous e36 for parts so picked this up for 600 quid. Had no NCT and no Tax and 176k miles on the clock. Wasn't really much wrong with it when i bought it. Just needed one of the rear axle bushings and a new thermostat ( got the thermostat from the old car so saved some money there :) ) Went into NCT first time and failed on wishbone bushings, brake lines and airbag light wasn't working. Got it all sorted, re test and got NCT for 3 months then cause of back date -_- booked in again for September now. With the nct out of the way for a while it was time to start making the car look better.

First things i did was that i changed the steering wheel and changed the headlining from white to black ( got both things from the old bmw so no money spent again ) No picture of the new headlining tho.

Next i changed the grill from chrome to black which made it 100 times better imo.

Then i ordered German plates, angel eyes, boot lid lip and m3 style front bumper.

And that's how she is right now :) Have a few more plans but first i'm gonna get the NCT out of the way again.

Anyway the plans are :

Bmw business CD player
18 Button OBC
Tint the rear windows
Black leather interior
New alloys ( Rota Grids )
Lower it
New engine ( from 328 or m3 )
LSD

But it will be many many many months before i do any of that cause the funds just don't allow it for now unfortunately

Gave a wall a little love tap and it never looked alright from the front anymore, Clutch was going in it, leaking about 1l of oil a week and just needed few other bits for NCT.

It is :) Have it for 4 months now and done about 8000 miles or so and still running sweet. Haven't had any nasty surprises yet :)

New exhaust fitted. Love the sound from it :D Have an mtech rear bumper with a diffuser for twin exhaust, just need to respray that.

Failed NCT on a leaking shock absorber. New one is 80 quid so makes more sense to buy coil overs which will be ordered soon.

Also will be ordering Concave Rota Grid Drifts next week in Flat Black! :)

Thanks :) Yeah, hopefully anyway :D Have only seen one another e36 with Rota Grid's so would be different from the usual Motorsport, BBS or Sunflowers :P

Got the rear windows tinted as well about 2 months ago. Will get them re done at some stage and the front's will get a light tint as well ( 35% or whatever it was so its still allowed for NCT. Have to find out )

Because I'm absolutely useless with money the Rota's are gonna have to wait till next year :( Got these for now. Need new rubber on them and will get them sprayed black or plastidip them black.

Coilovers will be ordered on Friday along with a OEM illuminated gear knob :)

Got new tires today for the Motorsports. And currently spraying them black. They are far from perfect because i couldn't be arsed sanding the alloys down because i will only have them for 3-4 months max. Just used primer and paint :P
Will try and get a better camera to get pictures of them on the car in next few days.

Coilovers ordered as well along with a Illuminated OEM gear knob. Hopefully have them fitted in 2 weeks time :)

Sprayed the rear parcel shelf black cause it had faded kind of purple and fitted the rear leather headrests

Have Motorsports on now as well. Had them on the car for 1 day and mounted it off a kerb already ffs -.- Still holds air in the tire tho so will be grand for a while. Will be getting black wheel centre caps for it as well soon.

Lowered good bit now in the front. Tried lowering it a bit more in the back from what it was on Friday but still didn't get it as low as i would like. Couldn't be arsed doing them again so just going to wait until after NCT next Monday and drop it more then.

Front still looks kinda high in the pictures, but struggling with some speed ramps already in some places :D

Really do need to respray and fit the mtech rear bumper and side skirts already, hopefully get that done after Christmas.

The front of it is lower now as well cause the coilovers have settled, LOVE how it looks from the front :D :D
