Right well I picked this up 3 weeks ago for handy money. Had a few small bits done to it nothing major. Had a horrible kit on it to start with so that was the first thing to get rid of. I kept the rear 50mm arches for the rear.
So after getting the kit off I put on a pre-facelift front and rear bumpers. The engine didn't last too long because of some dodgy rebuild by the previous owner. So found another CA that was fully rebuilt low mileage and had all the receipts plus a trust oil cooler.
Decided to start into the body work and sort out the rust. Not a lot of rust which was a good thing only a small bit on the driver arch and up in the engine bay. Decided to go with midnight purple for the exterior and possibly top secret gold for the engine bay and boot. I am in two minds whether to flare the rear arches or put on the over fenders.
Anyway here are some pics of what has happened in the past few weeks.

Cheers for the comments lads.

I'm starting to like the original kit. I had the option of going SR but decided to stay CA and try get big power from the engine. Should have another update during the week when it's all sprayed

This should look good when done! Good choice with staying with a CA aswel! Alot of people would say your silly but when they are maintained well enough they are good engines for the little money. Good luck with it.

Right have gone down a different route with this decided to stay with the CA but forge it. So with the old engine I'm going to fully forge it and get the best out of the CA instead of going SR.
Changed my mind on the colour as when I decided to go with midnight purple I seem at least 6 mnp 180's on the roads. Decided to go oyster grey pearl throughout with a full uras kit. All that is left to do is get the kouki spoiler and weld up a few holes in the engine bay as the will be a wire tuck going on.
Ordered new wheels and will hopefully be here in a few weeks MB Battles are the choice.
Still in two minds of a top spoiler and run a BGW or keep it clean and simple with a kouki spoiler.

Choice of colours from the S15 range.

Cool build man, I'm pretty fond of mnp but oyster grey should be pretty sick too! What sort of wheels you planning on going?

Bit of an update on this. Still deciding on a colour but have it narrowed down to 4 colours from 16 ha.
Removed all the sound deadening treated all the rust. Stone chipped the arches are under side of the car. Also bought a Origin lab GT wing of broad sideways absolutely gent to deal with.
Also trimmed the arches and a layer if fibreglass over them. Sprayed the bay with a gunmetal pearl. Took the windscreen out and tackled all the rust there too. Decided to go with a different look on the front wings so out came the middle grove.

All comments welcome
