well lads thinkin of gettin into driftin this summer when i've my civic build fiinished!!
i just lookin for few pointers where to start etc..best car etc
want to build a drift car, 180sx maybe with skyline engine or so not sure yet
just want get familiar with the hole nissan set up so on
any help appreciated thanks
any s series nissan would be a nice start wouldn go with a rb engine in it the original is better for handling
so try get hold of 180 or something like that...and get used to that first?

Yeah any rwd will do as long as it has a nice bit of power...
S body nissans are the most popular choice therefore they're the easiest to pick up parts for.
Its always nice to see something different out smokin' up the track though ;)

Yeah get a tramp drifter to start off in, thats what i'm doin :D
Theres a track down in Castlecomer, Goldstone Drifttrack, sound bunch of lads running it and they welcome learner-drifters :D
i wouldn even be a learner yet ha ha, is it alot of money to get into the sport like??
i have access to lifts and workshop so dnt mind that side of it.
and wat sorta car would ya class as a tramp??

welcome along man, as derk said you could go down the tramper route to learn/practice omega's carltons bmw 535's are perfect for trampin :D:D

castlecomer or nutts corner are probably best places to learn.

yea may try get hold of a banger so and give it a go...

it takes a lot of gettin used to id reccomend to start in sumtin with low powr like a twin cam or sierra etc it makes it alot easier wen do get power jst dont be shy with clutch kickin :D

is it anything like diffin altezzas etc thats easy enough ha ha
eh the only thing in common is the bak wheels spinnin completely diff
oh right man, never even tried it before but would like to give it a go..
maybe in time if i get used to it i'd liketo compete somewhere for the laugh..
but for now just makin the plans and goin get up and goin in the summer
