Sr20det won't rev past 4k rpm

Was out in the car today and she won't rev above 4000rpm when driving in any gear. It bogs down like mad.
When in neutral it's fine and will rev to the limiter.

Any ideas as I'm booked in for mondello Saturday so need to sort this ASAP.

fuel pump, or fuel line connected the wrong way to pressure reg

The fuel lines are the right way round.
Been driving it a few days and this started problem tonight.
I presume if it'll rev to the limiter in neutral it's not fuel related??

no it wont be comeing on boost when sitting reving it so it wont need the fuel pressure, check the vacume going to the pressure reg and if you can a fuel pump

How do I check the vacuum at the reg ?

255 lph Walbro fuel pump might help if you dont have one already. Do you have a boost controller? She could be over boosting or boost spike,, cud be afm, boost leak although boost leak probably wouldnt rev past 2k.

Thanks lads got it sorted.
It was the fuel pump was half goosed.
Got a new walbro 255 in Barrys Motorsport and she is pulling like a train again.
