EDIT: Title should say No ..not NOW!!

Thinking of putting JOMs into my e46, they are a cheap coilover to buy but how bad is the ride quality?

It's an M Sport so the suspension isn't bad as it is right now but I'm just looking to drop it a bit but don't want the shit ride quality as in previous cars!

One of the lads put them in his e46 and wasn't as bad as I thought for the price.....there is feck all rebound on them and he had to change his anti roll bar drop link cause there was a mistake on the coilovers but that mite be fixed not sure.

How low do you want it?

I lot of the BMW guys go for eibach sport line springs that lower it a good bit and improve the handling

Richie in pro parts does springs called Intrax which I have in mine and they are the job....low enough to look great but not too low that you scrap ever little bumps

I dont want to drop the car on the road but sitting nicely, must get some new wheels before I can decide how low/high it will sit! For the price of them I can't really argue too much I suppose!

Any idea on the price on the Eibach kit? I see a good few lads on the BMW forum listing them in their spec list alright.
